Alongside the unveiling of its new flagship iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices at its keynote today, Apple also revealed some accompanying accessories. The company will be offering a new line of cases for both sizes of iPhone in a range of colors and materials.
Firstly, as picture above, Apple will be selling a leather case made from “premium, hand-selected leather treated with high-quality aniline dye”. It features a color-matched, microfiber interior lining to protect the iPhone inside it and features all the button holes and cut-outs you’d expect to fit snugly against your device. All in all, it sounds pretty similar to the cases launched with last year’s iPhone 5s.
The leather cases will be available in Black, Olive Brown, Midnight Blue, Soft Pink, and special edition Product (RED).
Next up is Apple’s silicone iPhone 6 and 6 Plus case. It looks awfully similar to the leather case but is instead made of — yes, you guessed it — silicone. The cases offer the same custom fit and maintain the device’s slim form factor by adding minimal bulk and also has the microfiber inner lining. If you want to add a little more color to your device the silicon case could be the way to go. IT will be available in Black, White, Pink, Blue, Green, and Product (RED).
Leather cases for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will set you back $45, while leather cases for the 5.5-inch version are priced at $49. Silicone cases for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 are priced at $35, and 5.5-inch silicone cases are $39. Check ‘em out at Apple’s newly revamped online store.
